Owen Wingrave fit-up in full swing…

Here’s a sneak peak at the busy Silk Street Theatre this evening… Lots of staff and students from design realisation as well as the rest of the technical theatre course working hard building the scenery and rigging for our upcoming opera. Note the guys working on the trap at the centre of the stage and the massive projection screens at either side of the auditorium! The theatre is laid out in a traverse setting so the acting space runs the length of the theatre and our movable seating will be positioned either side if the long steeldeck platform. It’s nice to see our versatile theatre utilised in such a way and it’s bound to make our next world class opera even more of a visual treat! More photos to come this week so stay tuned!
