Proposing a ‘Toast’ to a good day’s work!

The scenic art department have been working hard today down at the Bridewell Theatre off Fleet Street, painting the set for a production of Toast which is based in the staff room of a bakery. Sets such as this make a change from the oversized scenery pieces that the scenic art team are used to painting for productions in our Silk Street Theatre, but they are no less interesting! The team did a great job today transforming the space into a grungy, tobacco stained room complete with filthy walls, tea stained carpet tiles and flour trodden into the floor.
